Denna Millhollin
Founder and President

Denna founded DC Construction in 2003 after obtaining her General Engineering and C-8 Contractors License. She is well respected within the Central California construction industry, having over 22 years of experience.

As the driving force behind DC, Denna’s responsibilities include negotiation of large utility and public works contracts, project development, staff management, business development, relationship management, human resources and project modeling.

Denna’s expertise and strong business sense have helped her rise above the challenges of being a woman in the male-dominated world of construction. She is personally involved in every DC project, ensuring quality in both craftsmanship and customer service. Under her guidance, DC has become one of the fastest growing companies in the Valley, reporting 506 percent growth from 2005 to 2007.

 

Ralph Escobar
Superintendent

Ralph is a 31-year veteran of the construction industry, serving in various capacities such as cement laborer, apprentice cement finisher and job site cement foreman. He has over 15 years of experience at the superintendent level, overseeing all phases of cement construction, on-site management and project development. He is 40-hour hazmat trained, a certified heavy equipment operator, and has also received training in the proper handling of asbestos and lead.

Prior to joining DC in 2003, Ralph worked on projects for the Army Corps of Engineers and the United States Air Force. His public civil project experience includes work with PG&E, Southern California Edison, Duke Energy and the Tulare and Merced Irrigation Districts.

Ralph is a supporter of the Bay Area Master’s Commission, a Christian based two-year discipleship program that mentors young adults in ministry, food and homeless outreach, and gang prevention.

 


Phillip DavisProject Manager/Estimator

Phillip oversees and manages all projects at DC. His duties include project estimation, scheduling subcontractors, performing job walks and site meetings, contract negotiation, research and development, and billing review.

Phillip’s experience in construction spans nearly 40 years. He started in the industry as a journeyman carpenter and worked for several contractors before opening his own company–West-Pac Concrete and Hubert Davis, Inc. He specializes in concrete construction, structural concrete, grading and parking structures.

Phillip served as a data processor and gunner’s mate in the United States Navy. In recognition of his service, he received a Navy Unit Accommodation and various medals.

 


Jimmie L. Jackson

Jimmie has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years. His duties at DC include business development, corporate relationships, marketing and new ventures.

Prior to joining DC in 2008, he worked for the Aspen Group as a contract senior civil inspector for PG&E’s civil contract group. He has also operated his own businesses–J Jackson Construction and The HomeBiz Inspection Team.

He received his formal training in business management and construction management at Fresno City College. Jimmie is licensed as an A-General Engineering Contractor, B-General Building Contractor, and C-10 Electrical Contractor. He also holds an HIC Home Improvement Certification from the California State License Board.

Jimmie is highly involved in both his community and his church. He has volunteered with such organizations as Feeding Fresno, the Bay Area Master’s Commission, and the YMCA.

 


Stephen Munsch
Estimator

Stephen is responsible for attending job walks and receiving scopes and drawings from customers to create estimates. He also generates job packets with drawings and specifications and assists with project management, job site meetings, scheduling of subcontractors and employees, RFIs, parts ordering, billing review and equipment rentals.

Stephen started his career with DC as an intern in 2006. He joined our staff full time in 2008, after completing his degree in construction management from California State University, Fresno.

Stephen participated in the Boy Scouts of America, where he reached the level of Eagle Scout–the organization’s highest ranking. He has also served as a youth leader within his church.
